Earl John Lemell, husband, father, and brother, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the age of 85, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 13, 1940, to Clara and Joseph Lemell, Sr. in Welsh, Louisiana.

Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He retired as an Operator from CITGO Petroleum.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Mary M. Lemell, and his beautiful daughters Lolita Guillory and Erica Lemell. His grandchildren will also miss him, namely Jasmyne Guillory, Darryson Guillory, and Rilley Cavenall, along with his great grandchildren: Marley Shear, Judah Shear, and Madelyn Guillory. Earl's memories will forever be with his siblings Ruth Bolin (Los Angeles, CA), Joseph Lemell, Jr. (Welsh, LA), and Jacqueline Pitre (Welsh, LA), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Joseph Lemell, Sr., and sister Katherine "Kay" Hill.

Visitation with family and friends will be on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 11:00am in King's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1pm at the St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery #2 under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
