Earl Dewayne Stewart, 48, departed this life on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  He was born November 15, 1975 to Earl Bates and Orelia Ann Green in Lake Charles, LA.  He was a Certified Nurses Assistant at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  He loved watching the Saints play football, bingo, watching horror movies and game nights with family.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Twana Thomas-Stewart of Lake Charles, LA; his mother, Orelia Green of Lake Charles, La; four step-children, Khalil, Joy, Robert and Jailynn Tyler all of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Leshunda Broussard of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Markques (Brandy) Stewart of Lake Charles, LA;  father-in-law, Clifton Woods, mother-in-law, Yvette Woods; four sisters-in-law, LaShawn, Anastasia, Daniela Thomas and De'Etta Reeves; three brothers-in-law, Michael, Shawn and Patrick Thomas; one grandchild, Christopher Tyler and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy Stewart, great grandfather, Clarence Broussard, great grandmother, Orelia Broussard, uncle Leroy Stewart, Jr., aunt Brenda Stewart and niece Angel Renee Thomas.

Earl was an awesome human being who never met a person that he did not consider a friend.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
