Eddie Martin Ashley, 49, departed this life on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in Corning, New York.  He was born December 17, 1973, to Albert Ashley, Sr., and Ruby Fontenot Ashley in Lake Charles, LA.  He worked at Corning Center for Rehabilatation & Nursing.  He loved working and visiting family and friends in Alabama and Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Dashae Ashley; mother-in-law, Carol Tubbs; his children, A'Nijha, A'Naja and Ah'Noah Tubbs, Aaliyah Cole, Dasani (Jonta) Jones, Diamonds Ashley, Alexis Pickens and Jervaughn Augustus; his siblings, Albert (Connie) Ashley, Jr., Monica Ashley and Jennifer (Lloyd) Brown; grandchildren, Angela Pickens, Antinne Pickens, Kenneth Key, Travis Jones, Jr., Katilyn Anderson, Tianna Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruby Ashley; one brother, Alex Ashley, and two brothers-in-law, Nicholas and Datreal Tubbs.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Mount Olive Baptist Church.
