Edgar Jerome Faulk , 70, was born March 18, 1952, in DeQuincy, LA.  He was the 11 ^th of 12 children of Bessie Mae Daniels.

Edgar's strong educational foundation was built at Grand Avenue High School in DeQuincy.  He went on to graduate with honors from Starks High School.  Edgar continued his higher education and received his bachelor's degree from Grambling University and continued towards his Masters at Ohio State University in Columbus and the University of California at Berkeley.

After leaving Berkeley, he relocated to San Diego, CA to pursue an upper management position with the Pacifica Bell Telephone Company.  He was also employed in finances with Union Bank.  Being the unselfish person that he was, when our mother needed a caregiver, Edgar forwent his career ambitions and came back home to care for her until her passing in 2003.

You could not find a more caring, generous and helpful person than Edgar.  He would do his best to help anyone, in fact, to the point of exhaustion.  HE WAS A PERFECTIONIST.  If you wanted something done correctly, he was your man.

Edgar has been a part of the body of Christ, faithful servant of Jesus Christ and devoted member of First Pentecostal Church of Starks, LA for many years.  He was a part of the praise and worship team where he often played the bass guitar.  He also served as vice president of the Garden Club of Starks, LA.

Those left to celebrate Edgar's life and share in his memories are his four sisters, Yvonne Stewart of Buena Park, CA, Bessie Johnson (Charles) of Round Rock, TX, Brenda Smith (James) of Imperial, CA, Linda Thomas (Grover) of Killen, TX and Carroll Perrin (Bert) of Pontchatoula, LA; two brothers, Ardisteel Daniels (Yong) of Kapolei, HI and Dillard Faulk (Susan) of Honolulu, HI and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church members.
