Elaine Marie Plumbar, 84, departed this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA. She was born February 4, 1939, to John Declouette and Enolia Landry in Lake Charles, LA. She worked in sales until her retirement. She loved playing Mausoleum pat, telling stories and doting on her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Malcolm (Lashell) Boatner of Walla Walla, WA and Penny Boatner Henderson of Houston, TX; one brother, A. John Declouette of Lake Charles, LA; eight grandchildren, Dwight Boatner, Blake (Vanessa) Prevot, Desmond (Jessica) Boatner, Brock (Paola) Prevot, Blair (Kristian) Henderson, Brandt Henderson, Brooke Henderson and Jovita Boatner; four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Boatner, Desmond Boatner, Jr., Vania Prevot and Julian Prevot and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Declouette and Enolia Landry; her husband, Alcide Plumbar; two brothers, Joseph Declouette and L J Declouette; one sister, Ethel Hardaway and one son, Dwight Boatner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
