Elizabeth Ann Lewis Keeve was born to the late Effery Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Lewis on March 23, 1952, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She married Reneldo Keeve and to this union, there were no children.

She joined and was baptized at Starlight Baptist Church at a very early age. Elizabeth was a member of the Job Corps and studied nursing. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles prior to moving to Oakland, California in 1994. She departed this life on January 13, 2004, in Oakland, California.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Reneldo Keeve of Lake Charles, LA, mother Elizabeth Lewis of Lake Charles, LA, five sisters, Erma Lewis of San Francisco, CA, Deloris Wyatt of Houston, TX, Betty Coleman of Lake Charles, LA, Shirley Green of Lake Charles, LA, and Barbara Butler of Antioch, CA; two brothers, Effery Lewis, Jr. of Beaumont, TX and Carl Lewis of Lake Charles, LA; three brothers-in-law, Edward Wyatt, Larry Coleman, and Richard Butler, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, adopted children and relatives.
