Elouise Marie Hill Edwards met her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 9, 2011. She was born December 24, 1918 to the late Solomon Zeno and Rose Hill. She was 92 years old.

She was baptized at an early age, and spent most of her adult life at the New Sunlight Baptist Church. She was a member for 66 years. During her time at New Sunlight, she was a member of the Usher Board, secretary of the Wom¬en's Home Mission, and was also an active participant of the Hospitality Committee.

Elouise was married to the late Walter Edwards, Sr. To this union, thirteen wonderful children were born, seven girls ¬Shirley Taylor, Ludella Cannon (Solomon), Barbara Howard, Linda Edwards (Roy), Debbie Pappillion (Wayne), Jacquelyn Moore (Charles), Odessa Barquet (Glenn) and six boys, Walter, Jr., Larry, Ed (Ester), Vorise Jimmy, and the late Wayne and Shedrick. Also left to cherish her memory are thirty-three grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all.
