Ernest Williams Jr aka Uncle Boy

February 16 1943 - March 29, 2025

Our beloved Dad departed his life on March 29, 2025 at a local nursing home. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, Bridgette Williams, Gidgette (Henry) Gatewood, Charlotte Hendrix, Nathaniel Malveaux, Tanya Malveaux, Renada Malveaux, Shane (Chivonne) Williams, Shannon Williams; his brothers, Alvin and Oscar Williams; three godchildren, Allen Williams, Linton Joseph Jr and Cathy Williams; 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara Ann Williams; his parents, Ernest Williams Sr and Alice Williams; two sisters, Hazeline Edwards and Lena Ardoin; three brothers, Calvin, Melvin, and Jeffery Williams and two grandsons, Gabriel King and Keillan Malveaux.

Prayer

Dear God, as we say goodbye to our father, we ask for your comfort and your strength. May the love he gave us and others be a source of solace in this time of sorrow. We trust in your infinite mercy and pray that he is now at peace in your loving arms Amen.

A FALLEN LIMB

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the cards, dominoes and Dallas cowboy games. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on all of you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is a rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin, Until the day comes were together again. Author Unknown

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
