Errol Arnold Ward, 67, departed this earthly life on May 24, 2012. Errol was born on July 23, 1944 in Baton Rouge, LA, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He lived in Jennings, LA, most of his life. His survivors include his wife of 42 years, Marva A. Ward and son Errol "Toby" (Raynetta) Ward, II.
Errol accepted Christ in his life at an early age and attended Union Baptist Church. He received his early education in the public schools of Jeff Davis Parish in Jennings, LA. He attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ward Jr. (New Orleans, LA) and Josephine Lorraine Laws Ward (Eunice, LA), a son Andre Ward (Jennings, LA) and his sister Constance Ward Lawrence (Jennings, LA).
He leaves to mourn two sisters, Dr. Jamesetta Ward Tate of Shreveport, LA and Alana Ward Robinson (O'Neal) Chicago, IL. He actively shared his life with a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many dear friends.
Errol had just recently retired from Jeff Davis School Board as a bus driver for 21 years and was currently employed at the James Ward Jr. Federal Credit Union since 1989. He has also worked for Fort Polk Army Base, Mobil Oil and Superior Oil Company.
