On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, Esy Lois Ledet Fisher departed this life peacefully at the age of 83 at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge surrounded by her family.

Lois was born on September 26, 1936, to the late Theo and Helen Fontenot Ledet in Mallet, Louisiana. She was a devoted and beloved mother to five children.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a gentle spirit that was considered "Mom" by all the neighborhood children, no matter where she lived.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Jennifer Edwards of Houston, Tx and Latisha Guillory of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, John Guillory and David Guillory both of Lake Charles, LA, two sisters, Elta (Sterling) Gallien of Swords, LA and Mary "Lou" Rideau of Lake Charles, LA: 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Helen Ledet; one daughter, Raundea Guillory Fontenot; two grandchildren, Sessany Guillory and Fitzgerald Guillory; seven brothers, Duwell, Lester, Joseph, Dallas, Kelly, Mithchel and Theo Ledet, Jr., and two sisters, Della Ledet Guillory and Dorothy Ledet Green.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Nathaniel Ledet, officiating.
