Ethel Pitre Broussard , 84, departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on February 21, 1934, to the late Hosea Pitre and Bessie Willis Pitre in Basile, LA.

She leaves to cherish her memories her four sisters, Birdie (Arthur) Harmon, and Charletta Pitre all of Lake Charles, LA, Pauletta Pitre of Denver, CO and Geneva Pitre of Killeen, TX; four brothers, John Pitre, Carlton Pitre and James Pitre all of Lake Charles, LA, and Richard Bushnell of Seattle, WA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 8:00 a.m., and a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Father Wayne LeBleu, officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery in Basile, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
