Ethel Jane Simon, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at a local hospice facility. She was born August 9, 1936, to Farnest Baronet and Isaure Leger Baronet in Duson, Louisiana. She leaves to cherish her memories 3 daughters, Maxine Dunn, of Lake Charles, La., Sonia Meche of Lafayette, La., and Melony Simon of Lake Charles, La.; 1 son, Karl Baronet of Lake Chrales, La.; six grandchildren, Gene Dunn, Leonard Paul Simon, Joshua Baronet, Zachary Simon, Nicholas Simon and Kirkland Bourque; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends She is preceded in death by her husband, Delton J. Simon, and her parents Farnest Baronet and Isaure Leger Baronet. Visitation will be held at King's Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 11:00-2:30 p.m. and funeral service at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Dr. Michael Dickson, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the directions of King's Funeral Home.
