Obituary Eugene Adam Clark (Precious), 65, was born August 10, 1949, to the late Madison Clark, Sr., and Bertha Ceasar Clark in Lake Charles, La. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. D. J. Jones at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Charles, La. He was married to the late Shirley Spurell. He later married Iria Eubanks and to this union one daughter, Precious Clark, was born. Eugene graduated from Washington High School and attended Southern University for three years. He was employed by the State of Louisiana Tourist Bureau for twenty five years. Eugene was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Westlake, La. Precious, as many so affectionately called him, loved the New Orleans Saints and President Barack Obama. He loved dressing in his blue jeans and was very neat. He was preceded in death by one brother, Cloggis James Clark. Those who will continue his legacy of love and memories are one daughter, Precious Clark of Baton Rouge, La; one brother, Rev. Madison (Joy) Clark, Jr., of Westlake, La; four sisters, Bim M. (Douglas) Smith, Sr., Gloria (Garly) Clark, Gay Nell (Charles) Anderson, Sr., all of Lake Charles, La., and Mae Etta London of Dallas, TX; two Godchildren, Terri Shelton of Lake Charles, La., and Vermykia Watson of Baton Rouge, La., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
