Flora Mae Maxwell, 67, departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at her residence in DeQuincy, LA. She was born September 2, 1952, to Ernest Maxwell and Ermaline Child in Little Rock, AR.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Paul E. Harvey, Jr., Roshonda Lemelle and Aisha Williams; one sister, Peggy Welt of Pasadena, CA; seven grandchildren, Stephon, Jasmine, DeSylvia, Morgan, Elijah, Andra and Kira; 12 great grandchildren, Sariyah, Jeremiah, Zay, Jaidyn, Javion, Jr., Jakori, Emery, Grayson, Denver, Dakota, King and Dylan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Maxwell and Ermaline Child; one son, Kevin Harvey; one brother, L.A. Maxwell and her grandmother, Francis Dawson.

A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Opelousas Street Park, Lake Charles, LA.
