Florence Maxie Buckley departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in her residence at the age of 83. She was born to Willie Francoies and Luella Taylor Francoies on February 28, 1932 in Iowa, La. She was married to Paul Buckley and resided in LeBleu settlement where the street, Buckley Road, was named after them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Luella Buckley, her husband Paul Buckley and one daughter, Margie Buckley Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Rachel Thibodeaux, one sister, Gracie Mae Carter, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren other family members and friends.
