Florence Cofield Glasgo, 57, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, Apr. 4, 2012. She was born September 23, 1954 in Natchitoches, LA. to the late Roy Sr. and Betty Cofield. She confessed Christ at an early age uniting the Shiloh Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA. She later moved to Lake Charles, LA. and united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church and later the Cathedral of Faith MBC bothunder the leadership of the late Rev. H. Arvie. She was preceded in death by, her husband; Hurbert E. Glasgo, two sisters; Delores A. Cofield and Brenda L. Johnson, and one brother; Roy Cofield Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 daughters; Cautina L. Cofield of Houston, TX., Christina (Calvin) Charles and Yvonnie S. Glasgo of Lake Charles, LA., Sonja E. Glasgo and Geniene (James) Daniels of Los Angeles, CA., 2 sons; Rufus A. (Sandra) Glasgo of Las Vegas, NV. and Darrell L. (Arlene) Glasgo of Lake Charles, LA., 2 sisters; Katherine (Ralph) Lute of Dever, CO. and Alice M. Cofield of Lake Charles, LA., 2 brothers; Felton (Randle) Cofield Bey and Joseph C. (Sherry) Walker of Lake Charles, LA., an aunt; Willie M. Gay of Natchitoches, LA., an uncle; Edward Cofield of Chicago, IL., 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
