Frances Yvonne Griffin , 78, departed this life on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA.  She was born December 17, 1943, to Gentry Griffin and Louise Golden Griffin in Lake Charles, LA. She worked at Olin/Lyondell Chemical Plant for 30+ years until her retirement.  She was a graduate of W. O. Boston High School, class of 1962.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Tulonda Griffin of Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Curtis Griffin of Lake Charles, LA; one grandchild, Tyriana Griffin-Nims of Baton Rouge, LA; one great grandchild, Amelia Rose Guillory of Baton Rouge, LA; four Godchildren, Jennifer Danclar Vickers, Troy "Wooster" Marks, Bruce Seals, Jr., and Trinity Foster all of Lake Charles, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gentry and Louise Griffin and one brother, Henry "Bubba" Griffin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
