Obituary

Mrs. Frances Eva LeBlanc was called to her heavenly home on Monday, January 11, 2021.  She was born May 28, 1941, to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Magdeline) Vercher.  However, in 1975, she married the love of her life, Mr. Robert LeBlanc.

Mrs. Frances Eva LeBlanc attended First Ward Elementary, Airport Junior High and Washington High School.  She was self-employed in her early years and worked at Reynaud Middle School for a very short time, however, once the year 1982 arrived, she became an excellent and profound home economist.  She was a faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and after the union to Mr. Robert  LeBlanc, she became a faithful and dedicated member of Immaculate Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Magdeline) Vercher; one daughter, Janet Marie Breaux; one brother, Cleve Vercher, Sr.; one sister, Mable Duplechain; two nephews, Darryl and Gary Jackson; three brothers-in-law, Paul Ray Duplechain, Hillary Jackson, Sr., and Malbert Lewis, Jr.; one sister-in-law, Westiana Staton; one uncle, Joseph Shinette and grandmother, Nerta Shinette.

Those celebrating her life legacy and cherishing her memories her husband of 46 years, Mr. Robert LeBlanc; two sons, Clarence J. Breaux, Jr., and Arthur Guillory; two daughters, Madeline A. Guillory and Barbara F. LeBlanc; six grandchildren, Janita F. Breaux, Desmond L. Guillory, Justin L. Guillory, Micah J. LeBlanc, Marlana L. Etienne and Darius G. Breaux; two great grandchildren, MaKayla Guillory and Jaiden D. Breaux; two sisters, Geneva Jackson and Norma J. Lewis; one brother, Freddie L. Vercher,  mother-in-law, Mildred LeBlanc; special aunt, Gloria Jones; one brother-in-law, Anthony LeBlanc and sister-in-law, Angela LeBlanc and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews, relatives and dear friends.

Mrs. Frances Eva LeBlanc will always be remembered as a dedicated, exceptional strong, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
