Francis Joseph Babineaux , 68, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2018, at University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. He was born on October 15, 1949, to Lernest and Alberta Semien Babineaux in Maxi, LA.

Francis was a loved member of the Lake Charles Toyota family for 19 years. He enjoyed eating Louisiana cuisine, watching westerns and spending time cooking and doing outdoor activities with family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janice Simmons Babineaux, who was also his best friend for 38 years from New York; three sons, Eric Babineaux of Beaumont, TX, Jody Babineaux of Laurel, MS, and Frederick Babineaux of Lake Charles, LA; two daughters, Brooke Babineaux and Chardonia Scott Griffin both of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Helen Myles of Houston, TX; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his three furry companions, Lala, Spanky and Sedia; his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Dent of Lake Charles, LA; three sisters-in-law, Sandra, Cynthia and Gail of New York and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lernest and Alberta Babineaux; one son, Lionel J. Babineaux, III and five siblings.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
