Geneia Marquea Broussard , 46, departed this life on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born November 11, 1975, to Donald Ray Broussard and Clemmie Adams Broussard in Shreveport, LA.  She was a graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School and Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting.  She had a brown belt in Karate and loved reading, singing and dancing, playing the piano and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Donald Ray Broussard and Clemmie Teresa Broussard; her loving daughter, Anika A. Haley all of Lake Charles, LA; three brothers, Anthony Anderson of Lake Charles, LA, Damien Broussard of Houston, TX and Risean Broussard of Lake Charles, LA; two nieces and nephews she was raised with, Donavan Lewis, Donelle Ray Lewis, Conetta Lewis and Sara Anderson and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, Eddie and Haddie Broussard, Sr., and Leslie and Beatrice Adams; five uncles, six aunts and several cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
