George Washington, 68, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 4, 2012 early in the morning at his residence. George was lovingly known as BB or Papa BB, he lived a life of service to his Lord, his family, and his church. George was born on July 27, 1944 to the late Joseph and Eola Jacobs Washington in Marksville, LA. George was united in marriage to Constance Hester on April 14, 1990. George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who was well known throughout his community for his cooking and devotion to others. He served in the capacity of both President and Vice President of Traveler's Rest Baptist Church Usher Board and was a dedicated custodian of the premises as well. He loved and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys games with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Eola Washington. He is survived by his wife; Constance; ten children; thirty-nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters, nephews, nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.
