Georgia Thibodeaux Joubert, 101, passed away on August 28 at her home. She was originally from around Plaisance, Louisiana but has been a resident of Lake Charles for 56 years. She is survived by her daughter; Bernice Pitre, her son; Joseph Edward Thibodeaux both of Lake Charles, LA, 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 15 great, great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Felix and Louise Guidry; husband, Clarence Thibodeaux, daughter; Annie Lee Kennerson, brothers; Horace and Lawrence Guidry, sisters; Larounce, Lillian, Alice, Lee-Lee, Celeste, and Emily. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Earl Joubert.
