Georgia Marie Mitchell , 59, departed this life on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. She was born on August 15, 1958, to Ozee Fisher and Sallie Marie Fisher in Washington, D.C. She was employed with the St. Louis VA Medical Center until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Sallie Marie Fisher; her children, Inniss Tarawollie, Sallie (Darrell) Cann, Dennis Fisher and Daniel Fisher; her grandchildren, Tazire Weaver, Carlos White and Donald Brook, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, TR Washington, Qwen Washington, Onzeletta Washington and Jermaine Washington, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ozee Fisher, Sr., her husband, Joseph Mitchell, one brother, Ozee Fisher, Jr., and one sister, Onzeletta Marks.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
