Georgia Lee Hayes Trahan , 104, departed this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at her residence in Moss Bluff, LA.  She was born May 7, 1919, to Rufus Hayes and Irene Lyons Hayes in Iowa, LA.  She was a member of Reeves Temple CME Church.  She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with family.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Pamela Ortiz and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Irene Hayes; her husband, Dalton Trahan; one son, Matthew; siblings, Fannie, Edna, Ruby, Delphine, Alberta, James, Henry, Alvin and Oliver.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
