Gerald Bargeman , "Big Money G" 49, departed this life on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born October 10, 1972, to Clifford Bargeman and Irma Lee West in Lake Charles, LA.

He was the seventh child born of seven siblings and the baby boy.  He was baptized at an early age and was a member of Saint Cathedral Church of God In Christ.  He graduated from Washington-Marion High School and played football for four years.  He was a great cook and loved to barbeque and feed others.  He loved people and would do anything to help others.  If you visited Gerald he was going to make sure he feeds you.  He loved his family and friends.  He always made everyone feel important, appreciated, accepted, loved and welcome.  He had a heart of gold if you knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mauara Anderson Bargeman; his father, Clifford Bargeman; six stepchildren, Joseph (Nasha) Anderson, Jared (Megan) Anderson, Jazmine Chavis, Rickey Collier, Josh Guillory and Tamieka Callier; one sister, Loueanna Bargeman Grice (Alfred); four brothers, Clifford Bargeman (Sarah), Michael Bargeman (Bridgette), Eugene Bargeman (Stacy) and Joseph Bargeman (Julia) all of Lake Charles, LA; nine step-grandchildren, seven aunts, Dorothy and Hazel West, Genevia Pradia, Barbara, Diane, Rose and Mary Bargeman; two uncles, Willie West and George Bargeman and his Godmother, Georgiana Ross, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Bargeman and one brother, Walter O'Neal Bargeman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Orange Grove Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
