Gertrude Rene Ledet 82, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2010 at her home. Gertrude was born on December 15, 1929 to Felician and Carrie Rene in Mallett, LA. She lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed flower gardening and quilting. She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. Those left to cherish her memories are her children; Darryl (Jessie) Ledet, Paula Ledet, and Carolyn (Dwayne) Henry; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. She was married to the late Dallas Ledet, and preceded in death by her parents; Felecian Rene and Carrie Durosseau Rene, four brothers; John, Joseph, Garvis, and Curtis Rene.
