Gillispie Lynn "Gill" Ethridge, 42 was born July 2, 1971 in Lake Charles, La., to Gloria Jean Orphey Ethridge and the late Leroy Ethridge,Sr. Gill attended Cherry St. elementary, Molo Junior High and graduated from Washington Marion High School in 1989. Gill was a member of the mid-city State championship baseball team, also he was a member of the 1988 Washington-Marion runner-up state championship football and track team. Gill had many passions, of love for fishing, horses, but his greatest love of all was his family, daughter, Delecia Lakia Eaglin and his mother, Gloria Jean Ethridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Ethridge,Sr., grandparents, Will and Mattie W. Ethridge, Lawrence and Nola Orphey, Lawrence and Vena Buckins and nephew , John Odel Meche, Jr. He leaves behind a loving legacy to be cherished by his daughter, Delecia L. Eaglin,his mother Gloria J. Orphey Ethridge,two brothers, Albert J. (Geraldine) Richard, Leroy Ethridge, Jr., three sisters, Deborah J. Ethridge, Sara Pat (Odel) Meche, Gloria Ethridge (Robert E.) Schexnayder, two granddaughters, Kaitlynn Zyrica Eaglin and Kyla Ayiana Eaglin. God-parents, His brother, Albert and sister Deborah. Nieces and Nephews, Ashley Denise, Lacey, Nick, Derrick, Demetrius, Donovan, Dominique, (Derrick), Desiree',Vena M. Schexnayder(Edwin) Johnson, Lawrence(Eklan), Michael and the Late Baby John.
