Harry Joseph Cormier, III, 63, departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2017, in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. He was born August 25, 1953, to the late Harry Joseph Cormier, II, and Geraldine Oliver Cormier, in Harlem, New York. He retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He also retired from Walmart and Entergy/Gulf States Utilities.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Janice Harper Cormier of Lake Charles, LA; his children, Michele Cormier (Abdallah) Kharroub of Houston, TX, Samirra Cormier (Christopher) Cammon of Lake Charles, LA, Megan Cormier (Wayne) Avie of Katy, TX; one brother, Michael Cormier of Sulphur, LA and Dawne Dalton of Fredericksburg, VA; five grandchildren, Isaac and Kaleb Benjamin, Kylon Cormier, Micaila and Gabriel Avie and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Geraldine Cormier; his stepfather, Andrew Dalton; two uncles, Uris Andrews and Albert "Bill" Cormier and one aunt, Lena Andrews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 12:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a second visitation on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., at King's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
