Henry Skipper , 77, departed this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born February 14, 1947, to Morris Skipper and Myrtle Dansy in Lake Charles, LA. He worked at Lake Area Plastering until his retirement.  He loved playing dominoes, working on cars, watching the Boston Celtics win and enjoying his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 46 years, Patricia Skipper of Lake Charles, LA; his children, Dedra Simpson, Debbie Millet and James Skipper, Sr.; his siblings, Rosamary Smith, Josephine Reed, Marjorie (Melvin) Franklin and Cynthia Franklin; five grandchildren, Ja'Cori Thomas, James Skipper, Jr., Johnathon Skipper, Sr., Vincent Hall and Lillian Millet and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Myrtle Skipper; one brother, Glenver Warren Skipper and one sister, Gwendolyn Syas.
