Obituary
Herbert "Joe" Lede Sr., 61, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at 4:20 PM in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of lake Charles, he was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He worked for the lake Charles Municipal Airport for many years and was a former employee of the City of Lake Charles.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Kimberly (Damien, Sr.) Louis, Mary (Shannon) Reed, and Patasha Lede; three sons, Herbert (Florence) Lede, Jr., Scott Joseph and Quincy James Lede; one sister, Helen Jane Lede; two brothers, David Lede, Sr. and Robert Chris Lede; 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Brignac Lede; parents, Hyland and Helen Stevens Lede; and two brothers, Michael and Carl Lede.
