Horace "Zack" Zachary was born April 3, 1949 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Clarence and Idell Frank Zachary. He departed this life December 23, 2003.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Clarence and Idell Zachary; two brothers, Clarence Zachary, Jr., and Glenn Zachary and one nephew, Linus James Harmon.

Horace attended Mossville High School. He later moved to Houston, Texas where he was employed for Safeway Grocery Store for many years. He later moved back to Lake Charles, Louisiana where he was employed by Service Master.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Shaunika Zachary Parker of Houston, Texas; two sons, Brandon Zachary of Houston, Texas and Quinn Jennings of Mossville, Louisiana; five sisters, Bernice Zachary, Hilda Zachary Thomas, and Dian Zachary Harmon all of Lake Charles, Louisiana Elizabeth Zachary Soileau of Westlake, Louisiana and Dorothy Zachary Reado of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Zariah Monea Parker and Quinn Jenning, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Zack will be miss dearly.
