Ida Mae Babineaux was born December 4, 1947 in Elton, Louisiana to Rose Jack Woods and the late Earl Woods, Sr. A native of Elton, LA she resided in Lake Charles, LA most of her life where she was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

She leaves cherish her memories, husband, Louis R. Babineaux of Lake Charles, LA; three daughters, Sylvia Zachery, Carol and Kim Babineaux all of Lake Charles, LA; two sons, Gary and Kenneth Babineaux both of Lake Charles, LA; mother Rose Jack Woods of Elton, LA; five sisters, Lovenia Comeaux, Wilda Mae Ceasar and Laura Bell Thierry all of Lake Charles, LA, Georgeannna Simon and Geraldine Moreaux both of Elton, LA; five brothers, Lawrence and Leonard Woods both of Elton, LA, Earl Woods, Jr. of Oberline, LA, Robert Lee Woods of Jennings, LA and Leroy Woods of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Babineaux and father, Earl Woods, Sr.
