Ida Mae Pete-Goins Slaughter passed on November 18, 2013 at the age of 61. She was a loving, joyful woman who loved the lord and everything about him. She attended church every Sunday. She loved her family far and near and was wise beyond her years and was a prayer warrior. She loved life and took life in stride, but kept her head up the whole way to Heaven. She was an Alumni of Marion High School. She is born November 3, 1952 to Jimmy Louis Pete Sr. and Etta Pearl Pete. She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmy Louis Pete Sr. and Etta Pearl Pete and her oldest son Henry M. Wright Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory one son: David L. (Surrelle) Pete, Sr. of Lake Charles, La. ; 3 brothers; Charles, Rory, and Jimmy Jr and two sisters; Patricia and Cheri' Pete all of San Jose, Ca.; grandkids Bre'ana , D'Ashia; David Jr.; Caleb; Brian, CaChira all of Lake Charles and Elijah of San Jose, Ca; one god daughter; Jasvae of Lake Charles, La; and a host of friends and family that she loved and respected with all her heart.
