She was full of life and always on the go. She would say, "I don't like to be bored"! At age 79 she joined the Big Brothers and Sisters Foster Grandparent program where she volunteered at local pre-school and elementary schools for 12 years. In this program her job was to give loving hugs and encouragement to many kids who didn't get that from their own families.
She enjoyed going to early Mass on Sundays and reading the daily newspaper. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed experiencing new things she also enjoyed the theater, museums and being with family.
