Irene (LaFleur) Guillory was born in Basile, LA, on March 8, 1928, to the late Adena and Elia (Deville) LaFleur. She departed this life on April 27, 2025, at her home.

She was united in marriage to the late Curlan Guillory on October 12, 1946, and resided in Kinder, where they raised four children. She was the fifth born out of nine siblings. Irene was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. She was previously a member of St. Phillip Neri in Kinder for many years. She resided in Kinder until 2006 when she moved to Iowa, LA, to be near relatives.

She leaves two daughters, Elsie J. Reed and Geraldine Harris; two sons, Benjamin and Anthony Guillory; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many relatives and friends.

Her parents, her husband, five brothers, and three sisters preceded her in death.

A private service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at King's Funeral Home and burial in St. Matthews Cemetery in Kinder, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
