On Saturday, February 8, 2014, Irma Mae Sonnier departed this life for her heavenly home in Lake Charles, La at the age 71. Irma was born on October 15, 1942 to Minor and Octavia Duhon Sonnier of Lake Charles, La. She lived most of her life in the Prien Lake Area. She was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church and was a caregiver. Irma leaves to mourn two sisters; Rosa Luckett (Billy) of Los Angeles, Ca and Ruth Shelton (Arthur) of Lake Charles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and The Boyer Family; (Jim, Claudia, Leigh, Anna, Sam and Jack). She was preceded in death by her parents Minor and Octavia Sonnier, brothers; Iver and Arthur Sonnier and a son Eric Joseph Lewis all of Lake Charles, La.
