Isaac Jackson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 17, 2022. He was seventy-six years of age. He was born on August 30, 1946, in Iowa, Louisiana to the late Esville Jackson, Sr. and the late Beatrice Mitchell Jones.

Isaac accepted Christ at an early age. He was a dedicated, hard worker until his retirement. His passion was upholstery but he worked for many years as a welder and boilermaker in the local refineries. He loved sports and was a die-hard New Orleans Saints Superfan. Isaac's greatest accomplishments came from being a phenomenal father. a role model, and a provider for his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esville Jackson, Sr. and Beatrice Mitchell Jones; three sisters, Mary Bernard, Ida Jackson Styner, and Coretta Jackson Brown; six brothers, Neal Jackson, Sr., John Adam Jackson, Sr., Ivory Jones, Sr., Gilbert Jackson, Sr., Charlie Jackson, Sr., and Emory Mitchell, Sr.; two grandsons, Elijah Mitchell and Damarion Mitchell; one great-grandson Khalil Horton, and one great-granddaughter, London Ann'Marie.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving, devoted wife of over fifty years, Mary D. Jackson; his sons, Isaac Mitchell Jackson, Jr. and Foster (Dimitria) Alfred, Sr; two daughters, Demetric Humphrey and LaShawnda Mitchell; grandsons, Lawrence Horton, Makil Horton, and Corey Guidry; granddaughters, Samikia Mitchell, Jardon Mitchell, Kiera Mitchell, Aylan'na Fontenot, Tyra Guidry, and D'Monica Guidry; a total of seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Jackson Leblanc; one brother, Esville Jackson, Jr., and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
