Obituary

Jack Warren Hamilton Jr. departed this life on February 12, 2014 in Veteran's Hospital in Alexandria. He was born on November 28, 1939 to Jack Warren and Rosa Hamilton Sr. of Lake Charles, LA. Jack Jr. graduated from Washington High School and Grambling State University. He was a band member of Washington High School and Grambling and played a trombone. While attending Grambling he pledged Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He played with "Cookie & The Cupcakes" and "The Berry Cups". He served in the United States Army. He leaves to mourn his memories his companion Demetrie Bushnell of 30+ years; one brother Robert( Amy) Hamilton and one sister Josephine Hamilton Stewart of Marreo,LA. He and Demetrie shared a blended family 5 sons; Jack (Antonia) Bushnell, Demetrius (Jessica) Bushnell, Jessie (China) Bushnell, Joseph Clifton Bushnell all of Lake Charles, and John (Margaret) Bushnell of Jacksonville, Fl.;2 daughters; Cresenthia Marie Bushnell, Ashley Elizabeth Bushnell all of Lake Charles, La. and Jennifer Williams of Lake Charles; 2 god children; Khalup Jack Hamilton and Eddie Earl Guillory of Lake Charles, LA and 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Warren and Rosa Hamilton Sr.
