Obituary Jamar Johndale Lewis, 37, departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at University Medical Hospital in Lafayette, La. He was born on February 11, 1978, to John Jacob Lewis and Georgette Elaine Lewis in Dallas, TX. Jamar was a native of Natchitoches, La. and lived in Lake Charles for 16 years. He graduated from Natchitoches Central High School and was employed with Hydrochem Aquilex. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Sheila Jones Lewis; his mother, Georgette Lewis of Natchitoches, La.; three brothers, Rodney Petite, Jonathan Lewis, and Shawn Lewis; one sister, Katrina Petite; his Godchild, A'layia Collins and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John Lewis; paternal grandparents, Peter and Gracie Lewis, maternal grandparents George Williams and Alice Mae Petite. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., and Funeral Service at 11::00 a.m., at House of Prayer Holiness Church, 920 Harrison Street, Westlake, La., with Pastor Nathan Ledet officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
