James Darrell Duvall III, 44, departed this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at his home in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born in Houston, Texas, on June 30, 1979 to Mary Denise Hill and James Darrell Duvall, Jr. After traveling and residing in several states, he made Lake Charles his home in recent years and worked as a self-employed electrician and handyman. His favorite hobbies and interests included cooking, art, cars, and the great outdoors.

James was an adventurous man, who loved to travel. He had a very kind heart and loved to make his sisters laugh. He was an amazing artist and could fix anything.

James will be missed by everyone that knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mary Denise Hill and James Darrell Duvall, Jr. of Houston, Texas, along with his children, Mark Jefferson, Joshua Jefferson, and Abigail Cora Duvall; sisters, Stephanie Hammers, D'Onna Martin, and Natalie Anderson; nieces and nephews, Tristen Duvall, Michael Hammers, Matthew Hammers, and Rylinn Martin, all from Houston, Texas.

James was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Darrell Duvall, Sr. and Maria Secorro Duvall, and his maternal grandmother Ann Belleri.
