James Darrell "Screaming Demon" Rogers departed this life on June 11, 2025, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born on April 17, 1962, to Louis "Buster" Rogers and Catherine Trail Rogers in Lafayette, Louisiana.

With a thirty-year career as a truck driver, James loved traveling cross country. He was most recently employed with HD Trucking of Lake Charles.

Darrell was loved by all that knew him. He leaves to cherish his memories his brother Leon Rogers, his Godchildren Jacey Chavis and Faith Savoy, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Catherine Trail Rogers.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Saturday, June 21, with Memorial Service to follow at Kings Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation following services will be entrusted to King's Funeral Home.
