Jeffery Lynn Carrier was born August 1, 1960, to the late Theresa Lawson. He was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 54 on December 28, 2014. He was a longtime resident of Lake Charles, La., and was employed with Lewing Construction Company. He attended Marion High School, was well known and very friendly. He loved football and was a #1 Saints fan. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Patricia Ryan Carrier; five daughters, LaKenya (Darryl) Dartez of Lake Charles, La., LaKeisha (Laurence) Stewart, and Kanosha Carrier of Houston, TX, Shemekia Ryan of Lake Charles, La., and Ashley Carrier of Baton Rouge, La; Four sons, Jeffery (Mandy) Carrier of Houston, TX, Joshua Ryan, Desmond Richard and Jakolby Ryan Carrier of Lake Charles, La; five sisters, Pamela Stevens, Cherlynn Carrier, Robin Carrier, Jacqueline Lawson of Lake Charles, La., and Renea Jones of Houston, TX; four brothers, Donald (Elaine) Carrier, Ronald (Marie) Carrier, Freddie (Crystal) Baker of Lake Charles, La., and Bishop Fred Jones of Houston, TX, 16 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Lawson, one sister, Theresa Martin, two brothers, Earl and Eddie Lawson. His funeral will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Visitation is at 9:00 to 10:45 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
