Jesse Ray Bowie, "My Love", 51, departed this life on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at his residence with his wife by his side.  He was born August 1, 1969, to the late Willie Lee Bowie and Mary Ann Edwards in DeQuincy, LA.  In 2010, he married Gabriela Bowie and from this union they had one child.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Gabriela Bowie; one son, Willie Lee Bowie; one stepdaughter, Myriam Juarez; his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Bowie and Mary Ann Edwards and one sister, Estelle Sowell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Community Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
