Jimmil Carter , 43, departed this life on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at his residence in Lake Charles, La. He was born April 12, 1974, to Jimmy Milton Carter and Shirley Simien in Oklahoma City, OK. He spent the early years of his youth in Oklahoma and later became a life-long resident of Lake Charles, La.

He leaves on this side of heaven his beloved mother, Shirley Simien; father, Jimmy M. Carter; three brothers, Titus, Dedrick and Anthony; one aunt, Barbara; one uncle, Louis (Delores) , one neice, Delilah; two nephews, Kelon and Allen and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Onastar and Elyia Marie Goodwin Simien and Milton and Jimmie Linda Carter; three uncles, Joseph, Anthony and Herbert; three aunts Cecilia, Mary Ann and Margaret.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 8:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
