Mr. Jimmy Leon Hall, age 65, went to his eternal rest, Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Jimmy was born March 17, 1949, to the late James Hoyt and Dorothy Henderson Hall in Maryville, TN. Jimmy joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Alcoa, Tennessee, at an early age and worshipped there until he was called into the Army in 1969.
Jimmy Hall worshipped and was a musician at Living Word Christian Center in Lake Charles. Jimmy and Dot were married on June 19, 1996 and were married for 18 years. They loved playing music together.
He was a Salesman at Lake Charles Music for 35 dedicated years. Jimmy also loved dominoes, The "SAINTS" and especially fishing with his buddies, his son-in-law and his grandsons; and he loved his church family as well as family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by sister, Marsha Hall Stevens.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories are very devoted wife, Darthester Hall, daughter, Nashonna (Monty) Aucoin of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren, Seriphian Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Keitric Barber, Kennede Barber, and Meijah Cains; stepsons, Adam (Aubrie) Arnold of Kansas, Joe (Kendra) Cains of Baton Rouge, LA , stepdaughter, Angel Nadeaux; mother-in-law, Geraldine Gillum, Houston, TX; Sister, Elizabeth Marshall, Maryville, TN; brothers, Jerry (Rose Mary) Hall, Alcoa, TN, Vincent (Constance) Hall, Panama City, FL, Richard (Lynda) Hall, Alcoa, TN; Brigette Hall, Detroit, MI; brother-in-law, Harvey (Barbara) Stevens, Knoxville, TN; Brother-in-laws Mark Gillum and Elridge Gillum of Houston, TX; sister-in-laws, Leeanna Valentine, Houston, TX and Carlene Gordon, Chicago, IL; Aunt, Gloria (Stone) Carr, Rockford, TN, Jewell Henderson, Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and lifelong friends Ramsey (Carolyn) Duhon and Will Rideaux; not to forget his lifelong work family at Lake Charles Music.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00pm Monday, March 16, 2015, at Living Word Christian Center, Lake Charles, LA. Funeral service will begin at Noon. Pastor Joseph L. Banks will officiate. Arrangements by Kings Funeral Home, Lake Charles, LA.
