Jo Etta Brooks , 67, departed this life on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA. She was born November 11, 1952 to James Saner and Josephine Ray Saner in Frankfurt Germany. She was a homemaker and loved visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Samuel Keith Brooks; one son, Jason Jermaine Keyes; her siblings, Karl (Darlene) Saner and Earl Saner; five grandchildren, JaMarica Keyes, Alexxis Wiley, Lailani Wiley, Breilon Thomas and Raiyana Wiley; three great grandchildren, Kyndel Madison and Khalil Davis, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Saner and Josephine Willrich.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Marvin Dargin, officiating.
