Joan Gauthreaux, 73 went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in the comfort of her home. She was a native of Church Point, LA; however, she lived in Los Angeles, CA for more than 30 years, returning to Louisiana in 1994. Joan was not only devoted to her faith, but also a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Gauthreaux was a homemaker and exceptional seamstress. Family and friends from miles around enjoyed her down home cooking. She is survived by her son, Anthony Charles; daughters, Debbie O'Neal and Darlene Gauthreaux; grandchildren, Courtney Rochon, Kristen O'Neal-Anuku, Kimberly O'Neal, Kristopher O'Neal, and Kevin Calloway; great-grandchildren, Jace and Jaxon Rochon.
