Joan Woods Keyes, 71, departed this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at her residence in Fenton, Louisiana. She was born on April 22, 1944, to Willie and Erlene Woods in Lafayette, Louisiana. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Herbert Keyes; one son, Eric (Vanessa) Keyes, one daughter, Letha (Oneil) Gordon; four sisters, Diane Woods, Mary Woods, Barbara Woods, and Christine (Perry) Trahan; two brothers, Sandy (Rhonda) Woods and Joseph (Janice) Woods; five grandchildren, Paige, Xandrea, Darren, Christopher and Brittany (Jeffery) Buggage; four great grandchildren, Analise, Presten, Allen and Kadon and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Andrea Keyes Daniel; her parents, Willie and Erlene Woods; one sister, Lou Ella Lemoine and two brothers, Donald Ray and George Woods. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 8:00 a.m., and Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., at Greater St. Joseph Baptist Church in Fenton, La., with Pastor Arnold Wykoff, officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Fenton, La., under the direction of King's Funeral Home
