John "Roland" Garrick, 81 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 in Church Point, Louisiana. He was born to the late Noah and Edolia Bellard Garrick on December 16, 1930 in Lawtell, Louisiana. He is survived by one sister Mary E. Garrick of Church Point, Louisiana; two brothers: Anthony (Katherine) Garrick of Lafayette, Louisiana and Sylvester Garrett of Opelousas, Louisiana; five sister-n-laws: Sylvia G. Garrick and Alma B. Garrick of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Anna C. Garrick of Orange, Texas, Wilma G. Durouso and Anita G. Simien of Lake Charles, Louisiana; One brother-n-law Joseph (Cezo) and Stella Guidry of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three God-children: Wanda Ann Garrick King, Anthony Guidry, and Jeffery Simien all of Lake Charles, Louisiana. A very devoted friend Willie Mae Goodwin, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Noah and Edolia Bellard Garrick. Six brothers: Lucius, Mitchell, Joseph, Theogene, Aurlien, and Sidney Garrick and one sister Lorena Garrick Sonnier.
