John Howard Hein , 63, departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Lake Charles, LA. He was born June 25, 1955, to David and Gladys Hennigan Hein in East Chicago, Indiana.  He worked at Sunrise Inn for Victor and Pat Patel.  He also lived and worked in various states across the country.  He was a great handyman who loved fishing and did beautiful woodwork.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Gladys Hein; one son, Johnathan (Kayla) Barlow; three brothers, David (Sandy) Hein, Michael (Carol) Hein and Stuart (Jo Ellen) Hein; one grandchild, Ariah Barlow; nephews, Benjamin (Majel) Hein, Luke (Sarah) Hein, Will Hein, Jeremiah Hein, Nathan (Melanie) Hein, Jacob Hein and Joshua (Stacy) Hein; great nieces and nephews, Jaxon Hein, Landon Hein, Kolin Hein, Kaylie Hein, Althea Hein and Jack Hein, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, David John Hein.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at 5:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home, 1611 Gerstner Memorial, Lake Charles, LA.
